3 trimmed pork fillets, pat dried with kitchen paper 2 tbsp spoons dark soy sauce 3 tbsp Chinese BBQ sauce (Char Sui) 2 tbsp Olive oil
Salad Ingredients 6 carrots zested 4 zee sweet nectarine cut into wedges 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp white balsamic ½ cup fresh coriander leaves, (or mint leaves)
Method Toss everything together, serve chilled.

Rub in the dark soy sauce around the pork fillet then rub in Char Sui. Coat with the oil and allow pork to marinate.
Always pre heat a BBQ on high heat for 10 minutes (with the lid down) then back off the heat by half and away you go. Cook Char Sui pork like sausages on direct heat for 5 minutes per side turning 3 times. Baste with excess sauce after you turn the meat and sauce glazes on to the pork nicely. Allow the pork to rest before slicing. Serve with the carrot salad and grilled garlic bread. |
