- 1 head of fresh broccoli
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
- 200 gms walnuts
- 1/4 sage leaves
- 1/2 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 500 gms fresh pasta of your choice
Remove just the first 4 cm of broccoli flowerets. Puree the flowerets, garlic, nuts, sage and olive oil until smooth. Add enough olive oil until you have your desired consistency.
Pre-heat large wok to medium heat, add broccoli and pesto, saute for 3 mins. Add cooked pasta and stir until combined. Finish with basil leaves and extra parmesan on top.
